Smart Compression

Reduce file sizes by up to 80% without sacrificing quality using intelligent compression algorithms.

Format Conversion

Convert between image formats including JPEG, PNG, WebP, and AVIF to optimize for different uses.

Resize Options

Resize images to specific dimensions while maintaining aspect ratio or fitting exact requirements.

Getting Started

Using TinyKing is simple. Just upload your images, configure your settings, and compress.

1. Upload Your Images

Image upload interface

Drag and drop your images onto the upload area or click to browse your files. TinyKing supports JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, and TIFF formats. You can upload up to 100 images at once, with a maximum size of 5MB per image.

2. Configure Compression Settings

Compression settings panel

Choose your desired settings for compression. You can enable format conversion to convert your images to JPEG, PNG, WebP, or AVIF. Adjust the quality slider to balance file size and image quality. You can also enable resizing to reduce the dimensions of your images.

3. Compress and Download

Compression results and download options

Click the "Compress Images" button to start the compression process. Once complete, you'll see a preview of each compressed image along with statistics on how much space was saved. You can download all images as a ZIP file or download them individually.

Advanced Options

Format Conversion

Converting your images to different formats can significantly reduce file size while maintaining quality:

  • JPEG: Best for photographs and complex images with many colors. Good balance between quality and file size.
  • PNG: Best for images with transparency or sharp edges like logos and text. Larger file size but lossless quality.
  • WebP: Modern format that provides better compression than JPEG and PNG with support for transparency. Great for web use but not supported by all older browsers.
  • AVIF: Newest format with the best compression ratios. Excellent for web use but has limited browser support.

Resize Options

TinyKing offers several resize modes to fit your specific needs:

  • Contain: Resizes the image to fit within the specified dimensions while maintaining aspect ratio.
  • Cover: Resizes the image to cover the specified dimensions while maintaining aspect ratio. Some parts may be cropped.
  • Fill: Stretches the image to fill the specified dimensions exactly, which may distort the image if the aspect ratio changes.
  • Inside: Similar to contain, but ensures the dimensions are less than or equal to the specified values.
  • Outside: Similar to cover, but ensures the dimensions are greater than or equal to the specified values.

Comparing Results

Image comparison view

After compression, you can compare the original and compressed images side by side. Use the comparison toggle to switch between views and see the difference in quality and file size.

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

  • Images fail to compress: This may be due to server limitations or issues with the Sharp library. Try compressing fewer images at once or using smaller images.
  • Compressed image is larger than original: In some cases, especially with already optimized images or certain PNG files, compression might not reduce the file size. TinyKing will automatically use the original in these cases.
  • Browser performance issues: When processing many large images at once, your browser might become slow. Try processing fewer images in batches.
